| cheers, got a 97' 16v probe one of those cars thats an aquired taste, esp as its the 16v, but i prefer it over the 24v  will post a pic or 2 soon. | |

| Hi and welcome I love ford probes, had both types, i must say i prefer the 24v but thats just the power of it, however i didnt like the petrol it drank lol! Whos your mate who recommended us? | |

i like the 24v for power (and cruise sontrol) but loses out due to 3rd gear syndrome, always feel like your in 3rd and missing extra gear lol!
if it was just speed that was my thrill, would have kepy my 942s - 0-60 in 6 seconds...but thirsty!

| got a couple, she's waiting to have a few bits done to spruce her up but got to wait for warmer weather!
will put up 1 or 2 once, i work out how and where lol
have to admit, didnt like the probe at all when it first came out, esp as they said it was the new capri! took until a few years later when i was looking for a car and saw my first one and that was it, was hooked, although ive only had a passion for two, others have just been cars. (if you know what i mean)

| yeah i know exactly what u mean, i had my 24v when i passed my test and had only had an r5 turbo before that so i was hooked n i still have a weakness for them
